Parity & Gravidity (Obstetric History)
Use this tool to summarise a patient’s obstetric history. Enter previous pregnancies by outcome and indicate if the patient is currently pregnant.
Include stillbirths at term.
Include stillbirths >= 24 weeks.
Include spontaneous miscarriages and terminations.
Number of children currently alive.
Definitions used here:
- Gravidity (G) = total number of pregnancies (including current).
- Parity (P) = number of pregnancies reaching ≥ 24 weeks (alive or stillborn).
- T–P–A–L = Term births, Preterm births, Abortions (< 24 weeks), Living children.
